5.0 out of 5 stars A very soulful CD!, January 31, 2000
This review is from: Liberty Heights (1999 Film) (Audio CD)
This CD is amazing, BUY IT! This soundtrack original score left me swaying in the dark. The opening song has such moving melodies! This music went perfectly with the moving film! I love all of the songs, if you've seen the film, you'll really feel the deep emotions buried into each song on the CD. If you have not seen the film, you'll want to, after hearing this grand score that belongs to a movie that should have had much more publicity!

1.0 out of 5 stars liberty heights, August 31, 2002

This review is from: Liberty Heights (1999 Film) (Audio CD)
learned the hard way! if I had scrolled down far enough, I would have read that this is not the songs in the movie which were great! this is the score and holds no magic for me whatsoever, I wanted the great blues and jazz in the movie. glad I did not pay an arm and a leg for this. another item for a yard sale.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, January 30, 2001

This review is from: Liberty Heights (1999 Film) (Audio CD)
Perhaps I was naive in thinking this CD would include the songs played IN Liberty Heights, not those written especially FOR the movie. Not that the music itself is bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting or looking for.
