I was looking for a quality shaker with holes large enough for sea salt to come out of and this is it. The table sea salt has no problem and it's also great for powdered sugar and flour. Very good quality.

Pretty good product and definitely worth the price.

I had hoped for just a little heavier metal - but it is not "cheap" On one of the 3 I ordered, if you twist the top shut firmly (NOT forcefully - just firmly) then the threads jump. this happened several times, but when I was more gentle, they held.

I also wish the handle has a bit of an S curve in it to be more comfortable. But this is a nit. At this price I am happy and do recommend.

I just ain't perfect so a 4 not a 5.

Yep, you read that right! My mom kept one of these on the kitchen counter. All of us children knew if a pan caught on fire...grab this and sprinkle liberally...what did she keep in it? Why Baking Soda of course!

I bought 2 of these and got them today. I am very impressed. I have tested them, one for flour and one for corn meal, and they are super. Very nice thick polished stainless by LibertyWare. I expect these to last well and not dent. Great price. The added bonus is that it is made in India and not China. These days that is a rare find!

What can I really write about this item? It is both astetically pleasing and highly functional. The shaker is has a mirror-like finish and is composed of sturdy stainless steel. I gave this item a good squeeze and found it did not bend a bit.

Highly recommended item.

This is just what I was looking for. I like that its Stainless Steel; it cleans up easily, and is made nicely - nicely polished, and the edges aren't just "raw". It has a nice feel in the hand; it does not feel "junky" or cheap, like some of the ones I tried at in-person stores. I took a chance on this getting it online, but I'm glad I did. The handle is held on by three small weld-spots at top and bottom of the loop. These are nicely done, as well.

I use this as a "cooking" salt shaker at the side of the stove. Its handy, and looks fine in my kitchen. It holds quite a bit, so I only wash & refill it occasionally.

Its well ventilated, and the openings are large enough that I think this would be fine for Parmesan cheese, but would be too small for pepper flakes, or herbs. If you wanted to keep flour or even powdered sugar at the ready, I think this would work well.

I would not hesitate to get another of these, if I find I need it for sugars, or flour. Its a bit large for household spices, unless you cook a LOT, or go through a lot of something. If you bake a lot of bread, I can see how this would be handy to flour your work surface, without having to use a utensil or stick your fingers into the flour bin.

The only thing I wish I could have found out is where its made.... I've been trying to buy Made in USA as much as possible, especially with food-handling items.

has been a wonderful little dredger since i bought it- handy and easy to fill and use. very happy with it.

Just purchased these, so do not know if there will be any issues with long term corrosion. The stainless appears of good quality and look very nice. Convenient size, very reasonably priced and a good value.

On the brusque-brown sour-smelling log felled years before by Nancy's father, we sat with purpose. Ours, this day, was to wait for a bus which never came. But no Estragons were we, and the bus was no Godot. Happier sans school this shining day in May, we waited because of obligation only.

May's morning courted us with blooms and birds and baking. The baking was to be done at school, and we were making brownies, the kind with the pastry-style crust on top, with the shaking of gentle sugar.

My job was simple. Bring a sugar-ready dredge. That I had, packed in my backpack. Clearly, though, with no bus in sight, a better use was found.

My left hand splayed against the log, and I began to sprinkle, as if in unction toward the coming day of play, to outline my fingers. Nancy pressed her right hand atop of mine, and my flecking shaped a new design, a white silhouette of friendship.

Wind, rain, and ants have wisped and washed away evidence of that day, but, so long as Nancy's dad ne'er moves that log, I can bring out the dredge with new sugar to shake, and find again the day of waiting for a day in second grade that never came.

Excellent as a shaker, accomplishing the intended goal of sprinkling flour and confectioner's sugar cleanly.
