I have such mixed feelings about this product. First of all, I did NOT purchase this from Amazon. I have purchased it multiple times off of their own website, because it is cheaper there.

My daughter has had head lice four times in the past three years. The products in the pharmacies don't work anymore. The lice have evolved and are resistant to whatever that nasty chemical is. I found Lice Killer online by doing a search out of desperation for SOMETHING that works to get rid of head lice. I have ordered and used this products three separate times.

THE GOOD: This product DOES work. It KILLS the lice if you leave it on for an hour. It smells good, it is all natural and won't hurt your child or their hair. It is super easy to comb out your child's hair after leaving this product on.

THE BAD: This product DOES NOT kill nits as they claim. Actually, I haven't found anything that actually does kill nits except a flat iron which is extremely hard to use on a child especially since the nits are usually very close to the scalp. The ONLY way to get rid of nits is to comb them out or wait for them to hatch and kill the lice before they can lay more eggs. There is a "nit glue dissolver" that comes with this kit. I have used this product several times (3+) and my personal opinion is that it is useless. It is an unncessary step, save your money. It doesn't "unglue" the nits or do anything else to them. And last but not least, my single biggest complaint about this product is the cost. Not just the cost of the product, but the shipping costs. I'm willing to pay a premium for a product that works well, especially in a situation like this.

After reading the negative review (which I found shockingly inaccurate) I just had to post my review.
I ordered Licekiller directly from their website when my daughter had lice for the first time. All her friends and people we know who ever had to deal with lice and used the over-the-counter chemical stuff usually deal with them for weeks!
It's because products like RID don't work. \
They kill the lice but not the eggs and are very bad for our health.
Licekiller WORKS - the first time!

My daughter came home from a slumber party infested with head lice. I bought Nix and treated her and spent hours combing through her waist length hair. I treated again in 7 days. I spent hours washing bedding, clothes, hats and vaccuming furniture. But the lice came back. It was a vicious cycle of treating her, cleaning, and treating again. In desperation I cut her beautiful, long hair to just below her ears. But that didn't work either. Finally, totally fed up and at my wit's end, I searched the internet for a product that would actually work. I'm happy to say that after just one treatment, the lice and the eggs were gone. The price was worth my piece of mind knowing that I could stop combing through my daughter's hair night after night in vain. I highly recommend this to anyone!
