Fellow New Mexican
I loved that it highlighted a lot of the cities in New Mexico and what they are known for but I was a little disappointed in the size of this book. It is the size of an index card so you can imagine that the recipes are very simple because there is no room for detail. Overall the recipes are very easy to follow and this would be a great book for someone that doesn't...

A timeline profiles the area's history, and a short essay clarifies the controversial spelling and pronunciation of "chile," then gives tips for "Chile Antidotes"! The reader will be certifiably enthusiastic about N.M. This makes for a wonderful gift!

Overall the recipes are very easy to follow and this would be a great book for someone that doesn't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen and doesn't generally follow instruction well.
