up beat and sexy album. way better then destiney's child

To those non-uk people:

what do you get if you cross TLC with Destiny's child and add some good old UK garage music??

Mis-Teeq.

Mis-Teeq are currently the third most successful uk girl group currently in the UK charts.

What makes them special from the British pop of Atomic Kitten and UK pop/R&B act of the Sugababes is that they are the first successful girl group to emerge from the london Garage scene into the mainstream charts in the UK. They have the R&B capability of Destiny's Child and also the capability to MC (wrap) like the late Left Eye from TLC.

Musically this album is a cross between R&B and Garage with only one pop sounding track called These Days which is still a beautiful track. The hilights are the singles along with Nasty and That Kind Of Girl which show the uniqueness of this trio.

If you are looking for a great CD, buy this one because musically it is different and much better to anything I have ever heard, and confirms the girls as probably one of the most underestimated acts in the UK who will have no problems getting number 1s in the future. If you are not from the UK, then watch this space because these girls have got the gift to be bigger than destiny's Child.

A great album that will not disappoint (even my gran lets me play it in her car) and one of the few albums I have purchased that have been better than I thought it would be.

You Will not be dissapointed

This Album really is worth getting! Its a garage album which is dance with R'n'B flavours like remix's of R'n'B songs! Its a brilliant album and has a new vibe of music which could bring Garage into the scene in Us as much as it has done in England! The album doesn't have any slow songs its more of a party dance album! With contributions from asher D and harvey from the So Solid crew! This album trully is a definate good buy for any R'n'B garage fans!

I brought this album yesterday, not thinkin it would be that good, but when i listened to it i thought it was much better than i expected.

these are my opinions on the tracks on this awesome cd........

one night stand - second single awesome!! 10/10

that type of girl - should've been a single 10/10

roll on - bad choice in single but ok song 7/10

b with me - pretty good song 9/10

why? - awesome very fast song!! 10/10

they'll never know - could've been better 8/10

stamp reject - kick ass song, another single should've been 12/10.

all i want - first single, great song 10/10

nasty - not bad 8/10

these days - slow beautiful pop song 10/10

better better - awesome song! 11/10

secrets of the night - another kick ass song!! a good single choice 12/10

your gonna stay - nice groovy song 9/10

one night stand(remix) - awesome remix 10

there are like 2 songs i didn't like but these songs are still worth listening to, the whole cd rocks and the kick ass tracks make up for the bad 10 fold.

For any one looking for something different in pop and R&B ,listen to this album and you will not regret it. I finally bought it this year and it has been in my cd player ever since. the best songs are one night stand, why, roll on, be wit me, these days and secrets of the night.

Considering I have passion for dancing, it's the one cd that keeps my leg apart: One night Stand, B with me, roll on, ideals for a cool dance, all i want, why, tracks from the beginning, They'll never know (with So Solid Crew), great tune, nasty, that type of girl, more of the feminin side of mis-teeq ... There's one item worth your money.

An excellent album! Infact one of my favourite's in my collection!
If you like the sound of Mis-teeq then this is the album for you!
Garage mixed with funky pop is how I would describe the sound of the Mis-teeq girls - not to mention their MC talents, and great vocals!
This album has all of their singles to date, as well as a huge helping of other fab songs! I'd say there was something for everyone here! You even get to hear Mis-teeq slow it down and sing 'These Days', a beautiful ballad. This is the only slow track on the album though!
'Stamp Reject' is a song full with a girlie vibe, it has a strong melody and sound. 'Better, Better', this is one to sing along to! and 'You're gonna stay' has some great sounds in it too!
Get your dance shoes on and party with Mis-teeq!
We are going to be seeing a lot of these girls in the future, so prepare to be in with the 'in' crowd and get your hands on a copy of 'Lickin' On Both Sides'!!

to any one that is thinking of buying the new misteeq album dont think twice cos its the album of the year! the songs r all so catchy and if were released they would all be chart hits!
i have got this album and my faves songs r roll on and one night stand! the cd includes all their hits to date and even the new double a side cover of montell jordans hits this is how we do it!
tell all ya friends to go and buy it and make misteeq big!! the girls desevre all the credit they can get its the best album ive heard in a very long time! ROLL ON!!!
