This is a high quality wok lid. I was apprehensive because of the price, however, given the heavy guage material it is made of, the decent sized knob, and the excellent packaging; the price is reasonable. I am very satisfied with the item and the seller. THANKS!

The wok lid I received from this company (MV Trading Co.) is not 18 gauges as advertise. It is hollow and thin!!!

The lid is extremely thin. Therefore, will be hot in minutes. The knob cannot be installed properly. Don't buy this. Amazon, you should not recommend and tolerate this type of poor quality product.

Its light weight and made from some kind of aluminium so if you are going to be rough on it this is not the lid for you! However it is solid and work wonders when you want to steam veggies in your wok!

This lid arrived today with the rim seriously folded in due to the fact that the box had zero packing material, along with rough handling somewhere along the line. The material is one step up from heavy aluminum foil in thickness. I would send it back even if it was not damaged.

Been using it for past few months. It is dented (despite handling it pretty carefully) and does not seal properly (as a wok-lid).

Looking for something better... to match the awesome wok ('Lodge Pro-Logic 14-Inch Cast-Iron Wok with Loop Handles') I use this with.

The key might be to buy the Wok and Dome at the same time. I bought from 2 sources and the fit is not perfect, but still works just fine!

For some reason the 14" isn't really 14 inch. But the problem is the thinness of the lid. It's not even acceptable thinness .. never known a lid to be made so thinly that it caves in at pressure point if you even lightly press your finger on it. I have the toughest time storing it. It won't hang unless you keep it in a closed closet because the slightest breeze sets it flying, so to speak. I would definitely like to see this made heftier.

Received the wok lid promptly. Noticed that the knob isn't attached. They simply threw a woodscrew in the package along with the lid and knob. The knob had a pilot-hole for the woodscrew so I'm fairly certain they do this on purpose (in other words - the knob had never been screwed in before). Would be nice if they put a little note in the package to explain that to customers. Its no big deal - I'm handy with tools - but not everyone is and when you first open the package you may think its arrived damaged. Also - c'mon Wok Shop - you can't put the woodscrew in a little plastic bag - you just throw it in the package loose? That's really poor.

My other complaint is that they put WOKSHOP.COM packing tape all over the package - in huge letters - so if this is a gift for someone - you may want to intercept the package before they see it (unfortunately the person I bought it for could read the packing tape as I brought the gift inside the house - so they now know what they are getting for Christmas).
