From a long time owner of these lights: I bought a few sets of these party lights about 15 years ago and have them hung under my patio cover. They're used nightly for light. They're taken down periodically to wash off the dust webs that seem to collect over time and am always amazed they look just like new again. They're a great investment at the price.

These lights are so much fun! I purchased 3 strands and was able to decorate my entire back deck for the first outdoor party of the spring. They look great!

the size and brightness is nice but the plastic is a little cheap.

I had been shopping for a string of patio lights in preparations for my annual luau. The temple lights provided just the right touch of festive atmosphere when hung from the canopy over the buffet in the yard. I was a little bit concerned about the quality when I first began to assemble the lights because I had trouble fitting the rings and tops to the bulb covers, but once completely assembled, the lights looked and performed marvelously. Each lantern was a bit larger than I had anticipated, and they made a colorful visual impact within the decoating scheme for the luau. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend them to others.
