In Sex and Lies by Donna Hill, the main character, Savannah Fields is a paralegal, daughter, wife and secret agent. Yes indeed! The intelligent Mrs. Fields moonlights for The Ladies Cartel, an organization that gathers intelligence on suspicious persons and businesses suspected of wrong-doings. When Savannah receives an assignment to investigate a corporation suspected of money laundering, she is eager to finally get some hands-on-experience under her belt. But there is a catch. Along with investigating the corporation, Montgomery Enterprises, the assignment names several other associations that may be involved in laundering, one of which is Blake Fields, PPC, owned by Savannah's husband. For a split second, she wants to turn down the assignment but she decides to continue with it. If Blake is guilty of any illegal dealings, then his wife wants to be the one handling the investigation.

Blake Fields is nothing but excited about the new deal his company has garnered with Montgomery Enterprises. There is only one problem, the owner, Tristan Montgomery. She has her sights set on Mr. Fields and she will not let the simple fact that he is a married man stop her from getting what she wants. And what Tristan Montgomery wants, Tristan Montgomery gets. When Savannah becomes privy to one too many occurrences between Blake and Tristan, not only does she have to worry about her task but also her marriage. But will Savannah be able to finish her assignment for The Ladies Cartel without compromising her secret identity or her marriage?

Donna Hill does not disappoint with Sex and Lies! This book is straight forward, direct and very interesting. Sex and Lies kept me captivated from start to finish; I literally did not want the book to end. The situation between Savannah, Blake and Tristan was almost palpable with Savannah wondering what is going on with her marriage and making a decision on what to do about things. Another look into Savannah Fields' life and the lives of her friends and family is definitely needed!! Once Donna Hill's fans read this book, I know they will agree. I recommend Sex and Lies to lovers of romance and intrigue with a bit of drama on the side.

I loved this book. Some parts were very suspenseful, others very romantic. Do yourself a favor and read this book! I am a new fan of Ms. Donna Hill!

Good Book enjoy from begining to end. I recommend that you purchase the entire series.

Donna Hill's nove "Sex and Lies" was a great novel about an undercover TLC agent who is investagting some of her husband's dealings. Donna does a great job keeping you entertained with Savannah and the dealings of secert life as well as her husband Blake and his drama. She doesn't miss a beat as you start to unfold the true tale. Savannah and Blake keep you reading and reading until you finish their story of sex and lies!!!!

Ms. Hill has written another good book, it's so good that I finished it in a day. I've read alot of books in my day and of that lot, this is the second book that brought tears to my eyes. My fellow readers, read pages 194 thur 198 and you'll know what I'm talking about. Can a man express his love any better than that?! I just know "The Ladies Cartel" series will be just as fierce as the "Pause For Men " series.

Donna Hill did outstanding work for herself with this book "Sex & Lies". Between my works outs & work, finished this book in less than 24 hours. I did not want to put the book down. Maybe more women should play "I spy" every once in a while. Excellent read.

Blake & Savannah, Donna this is a great book and the reader are going to love it.
Blake is the type of man who is strong, loving and understanding man. Ladies this man loves his wife so much it is wonderful, and Savannah is this woman who also love her husband to death. With all couple there are problems and they are no different with them it is a case of misunderstanding that happen when you only hear one end of a conversation. All is not lost with this couple and I also like the fact that when they was in trouble they had friends who was there for them especially Savannah her girls was there for her, and Blake had Steve to talk to. The secondary character in the book was good as well it will good to read there story. Don't want to give to much of the book away but you will not be disappointed once you buy this book.

This was an ok read, some of the story lines seem a bit to unreal for me. It just didn't do anything for me, even towards the end of the book i still was like (OK). Don't want to tell the book but if you want to read it you can have mines or borrow it from someone (don't spend your money like i did).

There are not many Donna Hill books that I would pick up. But I must say that I am glad that I picked this one. It was more of a mystery type book instead of a romance. There were some scenes where it was hot and steamy. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
