I picked this up cheap after buying "Orthodox." I must say I was impressed! Where "Orthodox" brutality and speed, it seemingly lacked sophistication. "Lies" does more than fill up the gap, while keeping the brutal edge. The work on "Lies" is clearly superior that of "Orthodox," boasting powerful, melodic riffs, and pulsating drums. The duel vocal approach allows for some awesome moments. I reccomend this to any fan of good death metal. This isn't a masterpiece, but it's definitly an excellent pick up. If you like "Lies," try "Orthodox," but not before giving this a good listen.

if you are used to getting your ears chewed out by the aural equivalent of a drill sargeant, then by all means buy a copy of this. krabathor doesn't sugar-coat their music, they throw the sugar bowl onto the floor and stomp on it. this is definitely not for the faint-hearted

Just got this disc, and let me tell you, its brutal. Every song on this CD is killer. Only problem is I would prefer a little more variety. Thats why it doesnt get 5 stars.
