pamela does it again
This is the second novel I've read from the pen of Pamela Ridley and once again she doesn't disappoint.The book was a great read and kept me up until I'd finished it. The characters are well-drawn and the author manages to pile on the obstacles for the heroine. Well done Pam.

More a suspense than a romance
I give this 3.5 stars. This is not a traditional contemporary romance with erotic or sensual love scenes. This is more a suspense book with a bit of romance thrown in. The leading heroine has so many bad things happen to her in a few weeks I'm surprised the hero did not run away screaming. I admit the twist at the end did throw me for a loop so its well written from that...

I give this 3.5 stars. This is not a traditional contemporary romance with erotic or sensual love scenes. This is more a suspense book with a bit of romance thrown in. The leading heroine has so many bad things happen to her in a few weeks I'm surprised the hero did not run away screaming. I admit the twist at the end did throw me for a loop so its well written from that angle. This can be read in a day and for me that is what let it down everything happens in too short a time for things to be believeable, especially having a handsome black man falling in love with pregnant black woman...how often does that happen? Probably never lol!
