We need the DVD, please,

I have a bunch of these AFI awards in VHS. But no DVD! When are we going to see these shows in DVD?
The AFI should be admonished for not finding the legal means to produce these treasures in DVD. Bette Davis is our greatest film actress. I'm a Kate Hepburn fan, too, but Bette was supreme. This is a fitting tribute, and my one regret is the other Warner great, Jim Cagney, was not there. But each always had warm words for each other. Interesting that the first two actors honored by the AFI were Cagney and Davis. My hat is off to Jack Warner.

The AFI lifetime achievement award special for Bette Davis captured the essence of the star and her body of work. I hadn't seen this special for years and it was nice to see it again. I just wish AFI would release this and other AFI tributes on DVD. Hint, hint.
