5.0 out of 5 stars BETTER THAN PART I & PART II
I BOUGHT THIS BOOK TODAY & I AM ALREADY DONE. FOR STARTERS, I WASN'T SURE HOW THE AUTHOR WOULD PULL THIS BOOK OFF SINCE THE MAIN CHARACTER WAS SHOT IN PART II, SO I HAD MY DOUBTS. HOWEVER, I WAS PROVEN WRONG. EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER WAS ACTION FILLED. THERE'S WASN'T A DULL PART IN THIS BOOK. KIRA'S COUSIN NIKKI SHOWED OFF IN THIS ONE & SO DID SYNCERE! AS A MATTER OF FACT,...

3.0 out of 5 stars 'Sometimes what you don't know, CAN hurt you...'
Nikki Simpson is reeling from the death and burial of her cousin/best friend/sister, Kira's murder. She's definitely feeling the void of Kira's presence because she depended upon her for wisdom and protection. Nikki and Rhonda find Kira's diary while cleaning out her house, and between the pages, a terrible secret is revealed. While missing her cousin, Nikki is also...

AS A MATTER OF FACT, HE WAS A MANIAC! BUT THE KICKER WAS THE ENDING & I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I DID NOT SEE IT COMING. THE AUTHOR REALLY PUT HER HEART & SOUL IN THIS ONE. AND SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH, THERE'S GONNA BE A PART 4. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT COMES OUT. KUDOS TO YOU KIKI, YOU DID IT AGAIN SISTER!

4.0 out of 5 stars Revenge By All Means Necessary, May 16, 2008
Life After Wifey by Kiki Swinson is an urban street tale that brings many punches to the plate. The book literally starts off with a bang in the shooting of Nikki's cousin, Kira. Only a few moments before the shooting, Kira shared information with Nikki that implicated Nikki's current man in her life, Syncere, in the shooting death of Kira's husband. Now Nikki is on a mission to find out who shot her cousin and at the same time she has to use plenty of street smarts and play "the game" as to not set off Syncere and hip him to the fact that she knows he is involved in the murder of someone very close to her.

Will Nikki learn how to "play the game" and stay ahead? On her mission to expose the goings on in her cousin's shooting and revenge against Syncere, she must be careful or she and those close to her could pay with their lives. After Kira's shooting, Nikki starts to wear her expensive clothes and jewelry and adopt an attitude change but will the attempt to take on her cousin's sharp, street-smart persona help her on her mission? Will her seemingly newfound snooty attitude and inexperience of the streets get in her way and cause others to suspect her?

I had not read any of the previous books in this series and was able to pick up on the flow of the previous books. The storytelling was vivid and placed the reader right in the middle of the action that took place. The surprise ending of the book has me looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book. This book was a definite page-turner and gets two thumbs up.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wifey's World (token), October 18, 2007
I think this book was EXCELLENT, it was a comeback from part 2, I love the Wifey series, so if u write 4 or 5 more series I'm going to read it so believe it, Just like many others gone read it, especially the ones that say move on or their tired of it. Just as many don't want more series u know u have just as many fans say keep bringing it. Don't worry about the haters let them hate, and if it ain't broke no need to fix. More and more authors is doing the 3 & 4 series, so if they can, u can too. You deserve every bit of 5 stars on this part 3 series. Keep ya head up and keep making noise, because it's a wifeys' world. Kudos' and keep doing you !!!

3.0 out of 5 stars 'Sometimes what you don't know, CAN hurt you...', April 23, 2009
This review is from: Life After Wifey (Paperback)
Nikki Simpson is reeling from the death and burial of her cousin/best friend/sister, Kira's murder. She's definitely feeling the void of Kira's presence because she depended upon her for wisdom and protection. Nikki and Rhonda find Kira's diary while cleaning out her house, and between the pages, a terrible secret is revealed. While missing her cousin, Nikki is also relishing the feel of finally getting out of Kira's shadow and flossing the expensive trinkets and clothes she left behind.

Nikki has found that Syncere isn't the sweet, lovable guy that she once bragged about, he's cold, calculating, and abusive. Syncere and his partner, Quincy are co-owners of a lucrative detail shop that serves as a façade for their real careers.

Life After Wifey portrays an inside look at life behind the glitz and glam of drug dealers and their associates. This realistic look entails uncertainty, instability, schemes, a place that no alliances are sacred, where no allegiance is forever. And the basic mentality is living for this day and hour, because in the life of a hustler and his wifey, tomorrow is mos def not promised! 3.25***

5.0 out of 5 stars KiKi does it again!, February 24, 2008
Kiki does it again. This book has many turns and is filled with DRAMA. I believe that it is the best one yet. KiKi answers questions from the first two novels as well as ties the stories together. I can not wait to see if Kira and Nikki are going to return and what will they be involved in next. Please do it again KiKi.

5.0 out of 5 stars WORTH BUYING, February 1, 2008
OMG IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS BOOK. I thought Kira had drama in her like but Nikki proved us wrong by the drama she has to face in this book. This book was better than part 2. I cannot wait for part 4. I would recommend this book to anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars LIFE AFTER WIFEY, November 4, 2007

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Like all her other books this one had my stomach doing flip flops, my nerves were raw especially towards the end of the book. I was literally on the edge of my seat. I enjoy Kiki's writing especially since I live in Virginia Beach and recognize the areas in which the characters in the book live or visit. The story Nikki tells are really art imitating life. Though this is fiction alot of the situations are almost true to things that have been in the local newspapers in the late 1980's to early 1990's.

4.0 out of 5 stars She needs to quit!, October 17, 2007
I loved WIFEY--STILL WIFEY WAS OK--LIFE AFTER WIFEY WAS A STEP UP FROM THE LAST ONE BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST. If you ever read Bitch Reloaded --tell me if this book doesn't remind you of that. A good read but she really needs to quit with the Wifey series! Love ya Kiki but go on to something else.
