There are so many reasons I like this study bible. It has great charts and timelines that are easy to understand. There are personality profiles including strengths and weaknesses of many biblical figures. The commentaries and maps are really helpful. Plus this bible has a really neat feature --it has the scripture areas actually written out in "regular book" form instead of the standard two column style that most bible carry. I started off with the regular life application bible five years ago, and love it so much that I now have the anniversary edition. This is really a great bible and the only reason that I didnt give it the full 5 stars is that I think it would be better if the pages were a little thicker so that the type wouldnt show through the page from the other side. A lot of bibles have this minor problem. Otherwise, this bible is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.

Candy is dandy but bible study wont rott your teeth ;-)
Life App. notes in the KJV, what will they think of next?
The NLT is great but i am a KJV die hard..
Having the LA notes in the KJV is fantastic. And this HC issue is very affordable and atractive. Type is a bit small but very readable, dark and crisp. Jesus words in red! Over all a great value.

Good organization (references are listed on the bottom of each page). Easy to follow. However, the product would be easier to read if the print was slightly larger.
