I'm well over 50, but I absolutely love this group, and this CD! I purchased the CD after seeing an interview with Press Play, and hearing a couple of the songs from the CD. Overall, the CD is an eclectic blend of upbeat music that is fun to listen, and "move" to. I also respect Press Play's affiliation, and work with the LA Dream Center. This is a must have CD for any Christian who is "young" at heart.

I love this contemporary music and its spirit of worship. I also admire the band and their heart for the poor and hurting in this world.

This is a high energy, awe-inspiring album! Press Play has revolutionized what I think about worship. There beats are so awesome, you can't help but dance. And there song One Life... omg! It makes me want to be a better person everytime I hear it. It really is a great album!

Press Play's first album, Life is Beautiful, is an uplifting CD that is pleasurable to listen to. I enjoy listening to this CD because the lyrics are so encouraging and bring joy to my life. The purpose of the band's music is very noble and inspires me to evangelize to others. I get so excited when I listen to their music because of the energy they present in the songs. The band Press Play meets my criteria for fun and Godly Christian music because of its wholesome lyrical content, the influential lives of the band members, and the high energy sound of the music.

The lyrics in Life is Beautiful are just that - beautiful - and it shows the beauty that God has given us in our lives then directs us on how to give that beauty back to God. We clearly see this concept brought out in the chorus of their cover song "Life is Beautiful": "This life is beautiful I give it all to you, I give it all to you. Cause this life is made for you I give it all, I give it all, I give it a-a-all." Another lesson we learn is from the song "One Life". The song teaches us that we only have one life to live for God and be a witness to others. "I've got one life to live this life. I've got one try to get it right. I've got one chance to change a life. I've got one life, one life."

Not only does that band sing about wholesome things, they actually live it out. The lives of the band members are inspiring as they are involved with an organization called the Dream Center who helps the poverty stricken people of Los Angeles. I personally had the opportunity to go to their concert fall 2010 in Kissimmee, FL and hear about their heart and intent behind their music. The band formed from some of the people who were (and still are) serving in the Dream Center. The very reason why they started the band was to help raise money for the center. They sing for a noble cause. Not for the fame or praise of man, but to raise money to help reach the hurting people of this world. It excites me to listen to their music because I know what they stand for and I have a chance to help support their cause. It is evident all through the CD that their heart is for missions and seeing the lives of real people change.

The genre of the music just tops it all off for me because it's Pop. Just listening to the excitement in the music makes me want to get on my feet and dance! Press Play uses a great deal of synthesizer in their songs, giving it that high energy sound. The mix of synthesizer, drums, guitars, bass and vocals is `music to my ears'. Not only do they play high energy pop, but they also play some mellow pop and worship. Their song "I Love Who You Are" sounds so beautiful with the classical guitar playing in a flamenco style - it's one of my favorite songs. The eloquent guitar accompanied by the lyrics and message in that song moves my soul to praise for God. "Fill this Place" and "Praise the Lord" are two good examples of more mellow contemporary worship songs.

I would recommend this CD to anyone and everyone out there as it will encourage you in your walk with the Lord. This music brings me great joy and just makes my day. It's great to know that you're helping out the Dream Center through Press Play. So the next time you go to press play on your CD player, pop in this `Life is Beautiful' Press Play CD!
