BRAVO!!,

Dr. Ronan Tynan has almost surpassed all his accomplishments with this album. It is simply superb. His voice is so thrilling to listen to. The choice of selections is very eclectic, all blending into a perfect whole. Just when you think one might be your favorite,he comes along with another equally qualified. This is a wonderful cd guaranteed not to disappoint you. I never tire of listening to it.

Dr. Ronan Tynan is one incredible person! All the Irish Tenors are outstanding, but Dr. Tynan sings with such passion, compassion, love and tenderness, there aren't enough superlatives to describe it! His performances only leave you wanting more, and fortunately, having this album to play over and over and over again can satisfy that need -- until his next performance. Five stars are not enough hence the title.

Amazing,

This music is from one human, who happens to be a great tenor, to another. There is a feeling that comes through the music that is not there with others. Think Bocelli in the feeling aspect. If God Bless America doesn't bring goose pimples for you, either you are dead or from Mars.

GLAD TO SEE THE NEW RELEASE,

This album has been a favorite of mine. Dr. Tynan puts so much feeling into his music that many of the old favorites take on new meaning. In my humble opinion, he does the Mario Lanza songs better, simply because the compassionate, sincere human being that he is comes through loud and clear in his interpetation of the songs. I'm glad it is out again. This cd has been a best seller world wide in the past.

Good ol' fashioned singing-goodness!,

Ronan Tynan might not have the fancy techniques that some of the better-known tenors do, however he has what others lack sometimes - sincerity and passion. Just listen to his "I'll Walk With God" and you would know what I mean! That track is to be experienced!Pick "You'll Never Walk Alone" or his signature song "My Life Belongs To You" and close your eyes ... His rendition of "La vie en rose" is charming as well. Tynan's album might not be as engineered or touched-up as others, but just like country-cooking with no additives or preservatives, this album is bursting with goodness!

I can't say enough about Ronan Tynan's incredible cd and voice. I don't know other singer living who sings with the emotion, power and clarity of Ronan. I have listened to this cd almost every single day since getting it 2 months ago.I would take Ronan any day coming and going over the 3 tenors,Bocelli,Lanza etc, etc for several reasons. One the clarity, Ronan's voice is so clear and beautiful not at all cloudy or milky like some of the "greats". Two is the power, Ronan can sing with power that hits with almost physical force and then drop down to a soft sweet whisper, always just the right sound at just the right moment. Three;powerful emotion, no one and I mean no one can put as much beautiful emotion in his voice as Ronan can. He can make you laugh, long and weep. His whole heart and soul is in every song he sings. Whether you like power, masterful interpretations or poignant renderings, Ronan has it all you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Tynan is an absolutely spectacular performer! Having heard the lad LIVE at least four times, his voice is fabulously clear and filled to the brim with emotion. His timbre is unlike anyone else, and his range is certianly exquisite! With Frank McNamara's arrangements to back him, you can't go wrong with this CD! Frank's music swells right along with Ronan's voice, adding to the emotional and musical amazement that the CD produces. If you liked Frank and Ronan with the Irish Tenors, you'll love them here!

Ronan Tynan is an amazing vocalist, and an amazing man. I'd never heard of him until, in the 2001 World Series, he sang "God Bless America," at Yankee Stadium. From then on, my husband was hooked. He bought this album as soon as he heard of it, and his culture level, musically speaking, is usually -----. But this is the exception that proves every rule. "my Life Belongs to You," "You'll Never Walk Alone," and above all else "The Holy City," are faves of his. This is easily the best recording of "Holy City," still in print. Nelson Eddy did the original, but sadly, no recording of it is known to exist. if only, lord, if only ... but until then, this is a masterpiece. "Roses of Picardy," is a thousand times better than the jazzed-up version of it Frankie Layne did. who was he kidding? This is a slow, tender ballad, and Tynan brings it off with spectacular flair. There's none like him--and where would we put one if there was?
