About the Author

After graduating with a degree from Exeter University in England I began a career in education by teaching biology in a school in Salisbury, Wiltshire. From there I went to Queen’s College in the Bahamas for three years to play rugby and teach, in that order, and then on to Mexico City to teach at the British Embassy School. Two years after that I found myself at the Banda School in Nairobi in Kenya and that’s where I tripped over the film business by working for six months on ‘Sheena, Queen of the Jungle’. I’ve been an Assistant Director in film and TV ever since. During that time I’ve worked on some great scripts like ‘Memento’ and some not so great ones like – well, you can look up my resume on IMDB.com if you’re really that interested. Of course, with over forty productions under my belt, I started writing my own scripts with some encouraging responses - but no checks. When a good producer friend of mine read the film script of ‘My Life in Black and White’ he suggested that I write it as a novel - so I did and here it is. I hope you like it.

I could not stop reading this book, it is compelling and holds you captive for answers in each chapter. Chris is a great story teller with imagination, creativity, humor, action and most important the suspense factor making you want for more! The story is told in three parts and each one has its own story which is connected, yet separate from the previous. It creates an intense desire to learn who the players are in each of these stories and how they are connected, believe me you will want to know how they are connected. I could not sleep until I found out! I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone I know (and I have and continue to do so!)! Thank you for this enjoyable reading Chris, I can't wait for the next one!

This is an enjoyable read about emancipation in its different forms, about a young woman's spirit, and life lessons learned.

Grabs you from the start and keeps you hanging until the end.. I couldn't put it down, and wanted the story to continue.

A unique story executed in a brilliant way. It was amazing to follow a life beyond an afterlife and through markedly different perspectives. Chris Edmonds is an accomplished storyteller and writer.

As soon as I started reading "My Life In Black and White" I could not put it down until I was finished.
The characters, the settings, everything about it was just exciting and riveting!
This book will make an incredible film as well!
I am now a big fan and look forward to Mr. Edmonds next book.
Again, FANTASTIC!
