WOW!!!

I was able to hear Christopher Lewis in concert at Total Grace Christian Center in Decatur, GA and was totally blown away!

I had never heard of him and had no idea what to expect. He performed six songs off of this CD and every one of them were near perfection musically, lyrically, and stylistically.

As much as I would like to, I just cannot put my finger on who he sounds like. First, let me say that the production/music on the CD is as good as you will get from a the best of Gospel (Kirk, Fred, Mary Mary, etc.) or from R&B (Musiq, Arie, etc.). I have pretty critical tastes and I honestly enjoyed every song.

The brother can croon like D'Angelo on a good day. I mean it. And what meant more than anything, is that each and every song has personal and spiritual lyrics that edify and strengthen instead of tear down and weaken. I am constantly looking for who is on the cutting edge of Christian music and Christopher Lewis is right there.

Listening to the samples should help you decide, but you really have to own the CD. This is in my player now. Buy it and you will not be disappointed!

this album is off the chain. I've never heard anything like it before. It kinda reminds me of Montrel Darrett's music. I hope Lewis gets the recognition he deserves.

This is really a great CD. I know Christopher personally and this young man is destined for stardom in the Gospel arena. This album has something for every one, from a little Hip-Hop Gospel to Praise and Worship. The song "Delivered" is AWESOME! Move over Detrick Haddon, Mr. Christopher Lewis is about to make his move. You will not be disappointed with this CD.

If it's Chris Lewis, get it! I bought his 2 CD set, CRISIS twice because I wore it out from playing it so much. And when I saw he had another, I just had to get...and I'm not disappointed at all!!! I love this brothers ministry/music! IT IS A BLESSING!!! Please see my review for his 2 set CD called CRISIS:CHANGE IS REQUIRED! His music truly ministers!! He should have much more recognition than this. I learned of him at my church. He came there and I still talk about that service! He has a ministry and an anointing! WE WERE GREATLY FOR SURE BLESSED!!!

Where in the world has this artist been hiding? I am a fan of neo-soul, R&B, and hiphop gospel, so I decided to take a chance on Christopher Lewis CD. The decision was well worth it! His CD is nice track per track with diversity and style, and lyrics worthy to be called "Gospel music". His sound caters to a particular crowd, and his lyrics will reach that crowd with his way of explaining everyday life in todays voice and the message of Gods love and mercy. Major props to all who had a part with this project. Its a great CD.

I didn't enjoy the CD. Maybe I got it too late, but good music is timeless. I thought it was a very trendy album, probably good in 2002.

I saw this awesome performer at a place called the C-Room in an ATlanta subburb while visiting the city fourth of July weekend, and I was amazed. He really ministers wonderfully with a very contemporary urban neo soul sound. His range was amazing, and melodies were very creative and uplifting. I purchased the CD, and have not been disappointed at all. Actually, I have not stopped listening to it since. The Lord is really using this young man, so buy it, buy it, buy it. You will not be disappointed. This CD great!! If you don't have it, you are missing out on an awesome opportunity to worship in a new way.

LIFE is a must have for every music lover. Stand-out songs include "No Color", "Little Things", "She", and "Delivered". This talented brother gives an awesome tribute to the Dixie Hummingbirds with the tune "Christian Automobile". Chris Lewis is a talented lyricist, musician, and singer. This album reflects all of that. Who said that Christian music was lame? They must not of heard the LIFE album.

Men i thank God for this albumit's truly ablessing and i glad i brouhgt it. if you don't have this album your'e really missing out. i did not jump when i first saw the album because i remember seeing it pleanty of times in the storee and never pick it up. some one refer this cd to me and i Loved it

I really enjoy Christopher Lewis' style on this new album. Lewis brings a neo-soul vibe to gospel that is reminiscent of Maxwell and Remy Shand. The grooves are tight and laid back, and Lewis' voice is layered well. This style is a refreshing approach to gospel and will please fans of R&B, while the lyrics are positive and inspirational and should reach everyone.
