5.0 out of 5 stars An Eye Opener
I am a very skeptical person with scientific background. I know that science cannot explain everything with logic and hence we have theories that are assumption based. This book doesn't disregard science but actually gives it another perspective to look from and fills up the gaps/challenges in the modern science. A must read if you are looking to know more about yourself.

1.0 out of 5 stars Typical Misinformed attempt
A very misinformed attempt to treat the subject of contradiction between science and religion-according-to-the-vedas. Inconsistent arguments and incoherent use of logic and reason, I would only recommend this book as a negative demonstrative tool. It is very useful in that respect as it contains many of the typical flaws found in poor rhetoric and critical thinking.

A must read while wading through the theory of evolution in student textbooks..Prabhupada reveals with concrete examples real knowledge already given in the ancient Vedic wisdom and proven by millions of satisfied followers worldwide. Also recommended is "Forbidden Archeology" by Michael A. Cremo and Richard L. Thompson.

5.0 out of 5 stars Please let us follow this great Saint, February 19, 2005
This review is from: Life Comes from Life: Morning Walks with A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Paperback)
I am sorry to hear that the person before me gave an unfavorable review to this book. I understand if you do not agree with the ancient bona fide Vedic Philosophy, but please do not mislead others who are searching for happinees. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada has taken thousands of unhappy, desperate young men and women and has turned them into saintly characters. He has saved those who were heavily into illicit sex and drugs, and instead has replaced that attachment with attachment to God. So I kindly ask you to respect the great work that Srila Prabhupada has done for your fellow man, even if you cannot accept his conclusion, which is harmonious with the sacred Vedic Literature. Thank you.

I wonder why I dint understand the simple truth before reading this book. It is presented in such a simple language - yet the subject is extremely complex. All in All, The book is a worth read for anybody exploring life for something "interesting"

In a word: "sham". In a sentence: "An embarrassment to the human race."

With so much information at our fingertips, so many ways to review the validity of information, with the systems of formalized logic that all modern progress has built itself upon, it is alternately humorous and depressing that such a load of hyena offal could be published.

Buy it used, it is worth the belly laugh.
