Love this man's music ever since "Newmanism" which I ldiscovered on rerelease I have had to have more. "Life" does it for me, Jazz Sax 101, not that sleepy elevator music. Music, a music lover can feel as well as hear. The kind of music that makes one tap the feet. Oh yes!
Mr. Newman on sax, and flute, Mr. David Leonhardt piano, Mr. Steve Nelson vibes, and Mr. John Menegon bass, just to name a few. A cool refreshing sonud that goes with any mood. If you are a true Jazz fan give Mr. Newman a listen, I do believe this CD will earn your stamp of approval.

I discovered David "Fathead" Newman a while back while listening to a local jazz radio station and instantly became hooked on his smooth style. His new cd, "Life", is the best yet. Perfect for unwinding after a long day at work or for just kicking back on the weekend. Other favorite cd titles include "The Gift" and "Under A Woodstock Moon" (this one is currently out of print). You can't go wrong with his great style!
