I am very happy with the product, and the price was better that what I found locally

This is my third reorder on this product, I'm impressed by it,,,,,I know Life Extension is a good brand so I am very pleased that Amazon carries this at such an exceptionally good price, Combine that with my free shipping with my Prime Membership and I'm a happy camper, Since I hide out from the sun, supplementing vitamin D is important, though it seems that more and more info is coming out on how vitamin D deficiencies can be so dangerous for any and everyone, Soooooo,,,,would make sense for everyone to take some as a precaution,and this one is a minimal investment for such insurance,

If you live in the upper midwest or northwest where clouds and gray skies rule for 3-5 months a year, doctors advise patients 50 years of age or older to add at least 1,000 to 2,000 IUs of Vitamin D3 to their diets. The Life Extension brand is a great value, and I prefer the capsules over the soft gels. So this works perfectly for me. Always consult your physician before taking any drug or supplement because some of these may interact negatively with any precriptions and/or supplements you are currently taking. Always be cautious.

Please note that this is Vitamin D-3 not the usual Vitamin D (which is slightly different). Most of the research on Vitamin D has been on Vitamin D-3, not the mixed ones. I have found this to be a good product, small capsule, easy to swallow. Decent price.

My doctor recently tested me for Vit D levels, and since taking this supplement, I'm at the high range of what is considered normal for vitamin D. Good to know this works, since I know I wasn't getting very much vitamin D from just being outdoors this winter (because I wasn't out very much).

This is one of the vitamins that everyone in the Pacific Northwest should be taking, and this was more reasonably priced than our local health food store.

Vitamin D3 is a good vitamin to take, especially if you live in northern states with less sun exposure. 5000iu is better, so take 5 or buy bigger capsules with more iu's.

Vitamins are important to good health and this product is a good addition to your healthy goals.

I purchased two of these. One for my daughter in college and one for me. It made both of us sick. It made her extremely jittery and nauseous and it gave me one heck of a stomach ache. I bought this because of all the wonderful reviews here in Amazon. So consider this your reality check people.

I decided that before I started taking this vitamin I would see what my current level was so I went to the Dr and got a test done. I ended up being put on persciption D because my levels were so low! Once these are done I do plan on adding this vitamin along with my daily vitamin pack. I did want to say the product came quite quickly and that is the reason for the 3 stars.
