More About the Author

I love to write and so I do. I write about goats for a goat paper... horses for a horse magazine... and, for fifteen years, I wrote "Homespun Humor" about life in general for a local newspaper. My three books are collections of columns I wrote in either "Homespun Humor" or "The Kidding Pen" (the goat paper). My goal in life is to enjoy living and help others enjoy it, too. Laughter truly is the best medicine. For more about my farm and my life, please visit http://lindafink.blogspot.com

5.0 out of 5 stars Life in the Goat Lane, by Linda Fink, December 6, 1999
This review is from: Life in the Goat Lane (Paperback)
A delightful book with hilarious illustrations. My belly ached from laughter throughout. This book is for anyone who loves goats or wants to learn about them. I read Linda Fink's columns in United Caprine News, and her book is just as funny as the articles. I nearly fell off my chair reading about "kidding", or the art of delivering baby goats. And the chapter on photographing goats can be enjoyed by anyone who ever tried to take a picture of a child or pet. If you have ever been to a county fair, or enjoyed seeing a goat in a petting zoo, this book is for you. It is tender and funny and very true to the goats. This book is for any dreamer with love in their heart. And for anyone raising goats who has one who likes to escape. This is a must for anyone with a goat, and would make a great gift for any goat lover. Thank you, Linda Fink, for a great book about how wonderful goats really are.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hmmmm..... fencing, June 23, 2009
This review is from: Life in the Goat Lane: Tales from the Kidding Pen (Paperback)
If you've ever considered having goats, read this humorous retrospective first. Speaking as a goat-slave, if one were smart (or at least smarter than the animals in one's care), one would choose to keep sheep instead. Enjoy!
