I found the book a pretty good read, but it did cast some doubt in my mind about the original author. For a religious person he seemed to be very callous towards the local people. The idea that Jesus may have traveled to India is an intriguing one and would perhaps explain the lost years. It is not unbelievable that Jesus would want to help the lower cast people and want them to have the same as the upper cast. Being driven out of India and returning he would have continued his work in his home land. I would say the book raises as many questions as it tries to answer.
