This is not a narrative meant for beginners, but a skillful painting in words of the great man's life. Based on important ancient sources to give a wonderful picture how this man became great. Success leaves clues - and Caesar's life - cut down at age 54, was beyond fiction. I like this idea of learning success from those who took on the world - and won!

I've read lots of novels about Caesar, and a few bio's too. This was a great read, and NOT a novel....

clear, well presented, dramatic, detailed without being dull, really get to know the MAN.

well recommend!

This is the way History should be taught! This man was amazing, and yet nearly forgotten...strange when we have so much to learn from him.

I enjoyed this book, and will read more about this great man.

I'm reading this one now and loving it too!
