This was a great book. It held our attention and the text was easy to understand. The subject was thoroughly covered and we learned a lot of new words and concepts. The pictures were beautiful and helped reinforce the text - for example, if they were talking about a float or a holdfast, there would be a clear picture of the named thing.
Overall a very good book about kelp forests. And one we will use again. Living close to the ocean made this especially fun as we were able to go look at everything we studied first hand. I just love picking up slimy kelp! I think this could be used from kindergarten (with help) up through late middle school. *taken from my review at goodreads

Buy these books. You and your kids will just love them~~ A must have for any childrens library!! Everyone will learn and love the pictures!!
