This book is a beautiful compilation of inspiring quotes and photgraphs. I do not understand the two reviews that critisized Montel for the amount of time since his diagnosis in relation to writing the book. This book is not about MS, but rather dedicated to his fellow MS sufferes with all author royalties going to MS research. People should read the book and understand it before reiewing it! In fact, Montel barely talks about his MS diagnosis in the preface and profiles everday people living with MS at the end of the book. Please read before you review, otherwise you are misleading people!

I purchased Montel's book after seeing him on TV with Karen Duffy last week. She is one of the bravest people I have seen. I also greatly admire Montel for what he is doing to help the cause of MS patients. My daughter was diagnosed 12 years ago and until about 7 yrs. ago did pretty well. Everyday is a struggle for her, hard to walk, bladder problems, etc. However, she runs a small newspaper, recently married, has had terrible problem this past few months when her husband was almost killed in Oct., and he is just getting out of the hospital Friday. But she has such courage and when I read Montel's book it made me stronger, and gave me hope that there is a cure out there. It is only a matter of time that is is found. My daughter is 44.

Love this Inspirational book and its powerful message. The photos throughout the book are incredible. What a great gift and its wonderful that Montel is donating his royalties to help with a cure for MS.

As a person who also suffers with MS, I found this book to be a great source of inspiration. I'm buying this book as a gift for all of my friends and family. I appreciate that 100% of the proceeds are going to benefit MS research.

I haven't been able to put Montel Williams new book, Life Lessons and Reflections, down since I brought it home! The messages and pictures are amazing and offer so many incredible words from the worlds leading personalities. The comfort I've found in the pages of this incredible book are invaluable. Each day I randomly pick a page and make it my affirmation. This book is a gift for everyone in the family. Only, buy enough copies because you're not going to want to share!

I just picked up this book at the bookstore because I am going through a difficult time. The book really helped me by inspiring me with quotes from different people both famous and not. I was also more willing to pay for a hardcover since proceeds go to MS research. It would make a nice gift for somone who needs a boost!

This is a nice collection of inspirational messages. I found the individual stories interesting, but wish there had been more examples of people living with MS. I know that many people with MS suffer with vision problems, so I was surprised that the print in this book was a little difficult to read (especially the smaller print in the preface). Although it is artistically pleasing, I would prefer print that is easier to see. Even though this material was rather lightweight, because Mr. Williams is donating his royalties to MS research, I think it is a good investment.

This book has nothing to do with MS and consisted of very little effort or creative value from Montel. It is merely a short collection of quotes which he considers inspirational, all of which were very cliche and have been used in far too many places. The only one missing was "Win one for the Gipper". There was nothing that gave insights into how he has dealt with MS or in ways he could provide inspiration to others who are suffering. I am only glad that the proceeds are going to support MS research or the whole thing would have been a waste of money. I recommend that others simply make a donation directly to the National MS Society instead.

Very inspirational and uplifting. It is a book of quotes and sayings that soothes the soul!!

After reading this book,Life Lessons and Reflections,I feel hopeful. Bringing attention to M.S. and raising money to find a cure has elevated Montel Williams to hero,at least in my book. As a person who is sight limited due to M.S.I would like to see Mr Williams book available in large print.
