it takes a while for the electricity to get flowing ( uninterupted anyway) through the whole track until it warms up or whatever it has to do, it gets stuck. Its alot of fun once it gets going. Best for beginner racers great starter track!

One car died 10 minutes after first use. Set should supply an extra slot car chassis for such cases to insure customer satisfaction.

When it works it is a nice set for the money. The track is hard to assemble, need three people to move it without wanking the track. Fun to use once tedious assembly complete, IF the cars work.

Order an extra car or two with the set to avoid dissapointment. This was the kids #1 Holiday Gift, car died after 10 minutes. Walthers Inc., the manufacturer said they would send a new chassis but required it 2+ weeks for shipment. Shoddy manufacturing, somewhat indifferent customer service. Walthers sent TWO chassis for replacement, so good on them for that!

Poor quality cars in my estimation. A few improvements would make this an excellent product.

First one I bought must have been old, connections would break when put together, this one only one connection broke and I glued it. One bridge not braced to good, pretty easy to assemble, great to play.
