this book is absolutely gorgeous. If I wasn't interested in the content I think I would have purchased it any way for the beautiful art work. Susan Bowes is a gifted author teaching readers about witch craft and explaining away negative ideas that a person may have concerning witchcraft. She lets us know about the good aspects of paganism along with the myths and truths of it.

It is a while since I have read this book but I must say it does cover everything. This book is very good for the beginner and does not just cover witchcraft. Life Magic delves into every aspect. There are chapters on Angels, Tarot, White Witchcraft; and just about everything you can think of. I really recommend this book for the beginner, as well as the advanced, although I do suggest you have some knowledge of terminology, as this can get a bit tricky. I very good read with lovely illustrations.

I have recommended this book to all the Witch message boards I visit. This is one of the most beautifully illustrated books I have ever seen. I also find the content to be comprehensive and varied. This book touches on a bit of everything. it would be a great book to give to your favorite witch for a Yule present! In fact I am here now buying a second copy for a friend!

I read this in 1 sitting (it has been a very long time since I have done that!). I would recommend this to anyone interested in the subject. It beautifully done and a good overview of witchcraft. I have become more interested in the subject since reading it. I will be purchasing her other books today.

Life magic has brought me back to life with it's words of positive thinking,learning how to tune in with nature, and beautiful illustrations. I love the way she tackles each subject describing a few different beliefs around our world while at the same time showing many pictures and illustrations. This book is all-around interesting and soothing to the eyes and soul. It teaches you about a variety of beliefs from long ago to our presant time...she did a great job. Can't wait for her next to come out...bless us all.

This book is an excellent one for beginners...very entertaining and easy to read. Celtic in flavor, it provided an excellent overview of pagan practices and beliefs in general. The historical data was fascinating and extremely complete for this book's compact size. The chapters on spell-casting were enchanting. Beautiful subject-appropriate artwork throughout!

This book is very interesting, a great starter book for anyone interested in witchcraft. I would reccomend it.

I don't like going into a lot of detail in my reviews...I like to leave somethings for The Book Itself to surprise you with.
This is a Great Book for Beginner and Long-Term Practitoner alike... I keep a copy close at hand on my Reference Shelf, and have given a copy to some of my students (I am a Spheric wiccan High Priestess).
A good amount of this information is available in other Books, but with Metaphysicals, Magick, and Pagan Studies becomming so popular these days, that can be said of even the classics.
In addition to the Wealth of Information, this book has some of the best Art I've seen in a Pagan Book...and much of it comes from older sources.
I recommend this book to all ~ In Love & Light.

There are a number of good things you can do with the aid of Witchcraft such as bringing love, peace, and harmony, into your life, home, or even send it to other person whom you like. BLESSSED BE!
