You will either spend the rest of your life in a sterile room or go jump in the mud. I read this the first time when I was fourteen. I stopped being so clean as I realized that you want your good bugs on you. They are there to protect you from the truly evil and nasty ones. 45 years later I have traveled in twenty-six foreign countries without ever getting sick. On the other had the shear variety of niches being filled on the human body is incredible. Very readable and informative.
