1.0 out of 5 stars Outdated with little functionality, August 22, 2009

This review is from: My Life Pocket Digital Photo Album (Electronics)
Here is a product that seems quite overpriced for my taste. I got this as a present - I wouldn't have bought it myself. I would have gone for something cheaper and with more functionality. This is clearly a product that uses technology that is very OLD.

The text on the product box advertises 'stores up to 4000 photos'. Well I don't see how that is useful if you have only 4 folders to organize them with. That's 1000 photos in one folder. It's quite a drag clicking through hundreds of pictures to get to the one you want. In addition to that the 4000 photos will be puny in size(30KB) so they are not useful anywhere else.

PROS:
- It's small and portable
- Has an internal chargeable battery with 3-4 hours of functionality

CONS:
- Only 128MB of memory
- Small 3,5" viewing area
- No support for memory cards of any kind. (The 128MB internal memory is all you get and can use with this thing.)
- The built-in 4 albums are all you can use. (It has no functionality to support more folders/albums on the internal memory.)
- No ability to display photos of other resolution than 320x240 (You have to convert all photos to that resolution with the Photo Resizer program that comes with the product.)
- It doesn't really work as a photo frame, since it is not designed to stand on a table without extra support and is so small.
- Expensive(90$) and outdated
