Very Helpful in the healing process of abuse for both sexes.,

This review is from: The Life of a Rose (Paperback)
I was very lucky to have been able to read this book before the release date. You will find this book very helpful in the healing process of physical, mental, sexual and emotional abuses that many have suffered, both women and men alike. From childhood, to what this American woman a registered nurse, endured when she was in Iran during the "Hostage Crisis", and the Iranian - Iraqi War. It has been a great help to me and my family.

This review is from: The Life of a Rose (Paperback)
This book was given to me by a friend. After skimming it, I ran across the first two poems and was drawn in. I had been abused as a child, but never acknowledged the abuse as a part of me in my current living situation. After reading this book, I've decided its time to get a handle my past.

Reading Catherine's life story was a healing experience for me. Her book has inspired me towards more personal growth. Some of her circumstances and changes that she shares mirrored a few of my own stories. While reading her words, I found that I was able to process more of my mixed feelings about my own past situations. I admire her courage to write down the truth. I enthusically recommend "The Life of a Rose" to anyone embracing personal change.
