I ordered this book for a college biology class and am really enjoying reading it. I've learned so much about Science! The book is very descriptive and puts everything in terms I can understand!

I've taken a few biology courses and read many awful boring books. This, is not one of them. I enjoy reading it and everything is laid out in a logical manner without unneccesary skipping around. The self quizzes at the end of each chapter also allow me to check and make sure I understood all the material. It is written clear and precise. I also like that the large text comes in the 3 volumes which means it is less weight for me to carry around and less money I have to spend on a whole text I don't need.
