Product Description
BloodSTOPTM hemostatic gauze is a revolutionary hypoallergenic treatment for hemostasis care, that is made from biologically inert natural regenerated cellulose. Whether for final treatment or temporary control, BloodSTOPTM safely and quickly stops bleeding.
When BloodSTOPTM comes in contact with blood, it interacts with blood platelets and fibrin to form a hemostatic matrix - a gelatinous clear shield that seals the wound and stops bleeding quickly and safely.

Blood Stop Works Great for Post Dialysis Treatment,

I am a three time per week dialysis patient that uses a size 14 guage needle (large). When I staarted on Coumadin, I noticed that the time it took to stop bleedinjg at the end of a treatment had increase significantly. Then I found Blood Stop.
I cut the pads down to a small enough size to cover the puncture site and tape them around the edges to a 1"x1" folded gauze pad. Place the pad (with the Blood Stop facing down) over the needle as it is being removed and apply pressure. My bleeding stops in less than five minutes. Wow! I cut the two 2"x2" pads into 4 applications and cut the eight 1"x1" pads in half. This gives me enough pads for 24 applications or 12 dialysis treatments (4 weeks worth). This is a great product!!!
