This book covers all questions you may have about the subject and when you search for information on the internet, it matches the book's information. It is a great asset for your Psychology requirement. Heck, just buy it to help you understand the life of people from birth to death. You don't need to be in college to read this book. I will not be reselling this book, I will keep it for a reference in my new career.

This is a wonderful introductory book on the area of Developmental Psychology. It is a very easy and engaging read. It includes many studies and works of other authors to support its claims, while not being overwhelmingly dry or boring. It provides plenty of good information and shows the authors have a thorough knowledge of the subject. It provides many examples behind the theory. I don't often read textbooks too much, but I read it almost thoroughly during my Developmental Psychology class. I'm glad this is the one my professor chose.

This book is ridiculous!! It is insanely expensive and yet it is FULL of grammatical and typographical errors. I cannot believe that professionals who write textbooks would allow so many publication errors. It's unbelievable!!

I am studying to take the CLEP test on Human Development so I bought this textbook to help me review. I am having to literally force myself to read this. I realize this is a textbook but a lot of the texts I am using to prepare for tests are far more interesting than this. Drudgery. Boredom. Those are the words that come to mind. I can barely choke the contents down and I am a highly academic person who actually likes reading texts. If this were my only contact with the subject, I would be seriously turned off. The cover looks fresh and exciting but that is where it ends.

The book was only $25 compared to my school's bookstore where it was over a hundred dollars for the newer version and it was loose leaf not bonded! I used my gift card that I had when I sold a book that I had from a previous semester, textbook trade in is the way to go!

As it is not Amazon's fault, the book was not very resourceful! The writer of this book did not choose a challenged materials for this book. I felt like I was reading an undergraduate studies book for a graduate course. There were a few typos in this textbook too. The only thing I liked in the book was the few articles it presented to help explain the chapters. The autism section should have been more identified I think and whats going on with today's autism findings and results.

It is hard to know how this works but be careful when you want something fast. Always check availability. It makes no sense to ship an item overnight expecting it in a flash when you did not read that it would not be available for a week. This seller was cordial and nice to me whithin my inexperience. Thanks.

With the option of expedited shipping I was able to get this book a lot quicker than anticipated. I would order again if they had what i was looking for. Great service

The book arrived in great condition, as promised, but it took 16 days to deliver from Chicago. It WAS in the delivery estimate time frame that was given when I purchased the book, but it has never taken so long for a book I ordered on Amazon to be delivered to me, even via USPS. I also needed the book urgently for an online class so it made waiting even harder. Overall, I'm glad the book arrived in such good condition but the delivery took too long. Perhaps next time I need to go with a faster shipping service.

I needed this book for school and it was less on amazon then in my college bookstore.
