Shutting people out.,
By
This review is from: It's My Life (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 19) (Mass Market Paperback)
Conner is having drinking problems, and is shutting people out, after all "It's his Life". Will is wanting to go to Michigan University, and Melissa, if she has to, will go with him. Jess is jealous of Jade and Jeremy, but she also finds out what Jade has been up to, and Jeremy doesn't want a bar of it, until he sees with his own eyes. This book is also a lead-on from when Andy thinks he's gay.

Ok, I love this series, to begin with. All the drama and backstabbing really captures a reader like nothing else. I like this book alot, mostly because the characters aren't all sugar coated. I think Conner needs to get his head out of the clouds and face the reality that he has problems. Andy just needs a nice girl to come along for him, and Jade Wu makes me incredibly mad. Here you have Jeremy, and incredibly sweet guy, tripping all over himself in attempt to win Jade over and here she is making lists of guys she wants to hook up with! I wanted to reach out and scream for Jeremy to dump that backstabbing witch. I think Lila should be included more in these books, because I really want her to get what she deserves for being such a backstabber to Jessica in the beginning- same goes with Amy- they both made me angry. I think, however, that even though these books have a lot of secrets and backstabbing, I absolutely love them and recommend them to even the hard to please audience.

i am always on the waiting list at my library for these books- i love and can really relate. but this one was to much of the same old same old. i DID enjoy the bits 'bout will melissa and jessica- though i wanted to hear more about ken's life. i am sick of hearing of conner drinking and blah blah blah- but i AM glad jeremy told off jade - that girl gets on my nerves. he should be with jessica. all in all it was ok. not as good as it could be though!

This is definitely one book I could not put down. I was always wondering what would happen next. There's bringing Will and Melissa back, and I think that's good. I'm curious as to what's going to happen with Conner and Liz? I'm looking forward to reading the next book and seeing how everything will work out. It has an interesting title. (Nothing Lasts Forever.) Also I think now Jess has an even bigger enemy that Melissa.

This was an okay book,

First of all, what happened to Andy. It was like he never came out. In real life if a friend of yours says he is gay, its not something you just brush off. It something that takes a while to get adjusted to. The Conner thing was weird, I am still not too sure what happened to him at the end. Elizabeth should definatly dump him. And poor Tia, she had to find out about Angel. I loved how Will and Melissa came back in the plot line. I wish Ken and Maria had more of a story. It seems next story will eloborate on Will and Ken's footbal status, I can't wait!

NOT ONE OF THE BEST!,
This review is from: It's My Life (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 19) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was not one of the best in the whole series. First of all, the book started out really slow and the whole Conner thing is really getting on my nerves. Liz should stop being in denial about Conner and she really needs to dump him and find someone else. How many times has he hurt her? And Jade needs to decide what guy she wants. She is the immature one right now NOT Jessica. Jessica was right for telling Jeremy everything but I think he had no right to blow up at her! Jade was the one who cheated *This time.* And why is everyone just pushing aside the whole Andy-gay thing. Seems as though if this where real life then people would be talking about it. Even though this book was not that good, I can't wait to read the next one. I am sure it will be a good one!

Can't Believe It,
This review is from: It's My Life (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 19) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was pretty good. Although I do have a couple or so complaints about it. I can't believe the that Conner's drinking has increased and only Tia has noticed it. When is Liz going to notice and when she does, how far into denial will she go? This book didn't have a lot to say about Andy and how he's dealing with the fact that he thinks he's gay. I would like to here more about Andy and the relationship between Ken and Maria. As for the Jessica-Jeremy-Jade triangle, look out for another addition to the whole messy situation. This book was interesting and I can't wait for the next one. When you get to the end of this book you won't be able to wait for the next book either.

Could Have Been Better,
By A Customer
This review is from: It's My Life (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 19) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book didn't get good until near the end. The storylines kind of moved slow. Conner is acting like a loser, as if that's anything new. I think that him and Elizabeth don't really make a good couple, but that's just my opinion. Although I can't wait to find out what will happen to him in the next book, although the author kind of makes it obvious. The Jessica/Jade/Jeremy storyline is kind of old, and at the same time it was kind of exciting. I don't like Jade at all. This book mostly focused on Tia and Conner, and there problems. The Will and Melissa storyline didn't really make sense in a way. First Will is only dating, Melissa because he feels like it's his duty or whatever, and then breaks up with her to date Jessica, and then all of a sudden he decides that he really is in love with Melissa and goes back to her, and now they act as if Will has always loved her. The author should make that storyline more clear. I also want to see more of Lila.

So-so,
By A Customer
This review is from: It's My Life (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 19) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is so-so. It seems like all the problems brewing for the last two-three books are still in stasis. It wasn't one of those can't-put-it-down books. Sadly. To be honest, I'm really getting tired of how drawn-out these books are becoming. Conner's problem is not seen by Elizabeth -- and she should have been the first to see it. Tia is still messed up. And the Jeremy/Jade/Jessica triangle is still not solved. When are they going to move on with things? It also seemed a little like the characters were wollowing in their problems too much.
