I was half expecting a sappy pet book, but was very pleasantly surprised to encounter a book that not only demonstrates a profound respect for animals, but more importantly, a very interesting approach to highlighting many aspects of the human condition.

What a joyful new perspective! My pets have meant so much in my life, and I really enjoyed discovering how they can share with us. Anyone encountering life's ups and downs will benefit from reading this delightful, wondering narrative. It's a "slice of life" guide to happiness and exploration; and Tiki tells it like it is--in honest, simple and beautiful language.

It doesn't take long to read Life Through Tiki's Eyes, but it stays with you long after you've closed the book. It's sweet and charming. A great book to read on those days when life seems overwhelming. The book makes you laugh and gives you the feeling you really are seeing life through those great big brown eyes - and that life is grand. I highly recommend this book for anyone who needs to chill out. Fifteen minutes with Tiki can turn around even the lousiest day.
