Life Uncommon is one of the stand-out compositions from Jewel's musical career. The single is quite the opposite. A greatly missed opportunity, both in its normal format or the potentially great gospel version attempted here, this one-track CD-single is certainly only worth its price. It's great that it's for charity, but Jewel has certainly shown she can perform incredibly better than she does here, and for its purpose it's a wonder she didn't. Disappointing for Jewel fans, even, and even though it does grow on you - the original album version is ten times better.

I feel that I just should let you all know that this is one of the best tracks made by Jewel ever! It is not the album version, it is a LIVE track which is "absolutely fantastic" So if you haven't got it it's about time you did get it. Trust me you won't regret it!

Jewel is one of the most talented singers I have ever heard. Her voice is truly a gift from the heavens. Life Uncommon is a fantastic song and, she sings it with so much soul. I cannot wait to get her Christmas album on Tuesday.

I love this song. It is my favorite in the album and it's interesting to hear a gospel rendition of it. It's a great song and I encourage everyone to buy the single and the Spirit CD!

Jewel has many gifts, including her voice, writing ability, and passion for life...these are all evident on this single. It is a wonderful version of the song. If you are a Jewel fan, pick up this single. It's worth it.

i'm not a fan.i'm beyond that.she can take words and put them together and make u realize that u need to wake up.her cd's r really good and lets keep it that way.

This song is timeless. Life uncommon is in the same category as "Blowing in the win" and "Day is done". It is a true example of why Jewel is bound to be regarded as a great artist long after she is gone.

I just want to say jewl is my favorit singer. All her songs has a meaning in life. She rocks! Her music helps me in so many different ways.I went to her concert,she does great on stage.it touched me and made me cry.so get her cd you will love her trust me. I LOVE JEWL

This song, like all other Jewel songs, is one that sends out a message to the world. "And lend your voices only to the sounds of freedom"..."Fill your lives with love and bravery" are only a couple of lines from the song that goes deep into your mind. Excellent song, amazing words.

Another awesome piece of work by Jewel! :-) This is highly recommended to any old or new Jewel fan! Don't miss out on this cheap single that will have proceeds go to the Clearwater project to help clean up the world's water! GREAT CAUSE TOO!
