4.0 out of 5 stars Finding clarity in the fog of war, January 28, 2010
This review is from: Life Is War but You Can Win: A Vietnam Veteran's Survival Guide for Everyone (Paperback)
I picked up this book when I was in the Army and it was a simple reminder that daily life is not an endless battle. The everyday military jargon takes on new meaning for the reader. My favorite passage is "keep your head down." It's a key to surviving tough times by looking at our everyday situations through the eyes of a soldier. When I started to realize that everyday situations did not involve life-or-death decisions, I started to relax and found clarity.

This book gives a unique perspective from a war weary soldier's point of view and teaches us that we can survive the daily challenges of everyday life.
