This 1909 biography of the "Father of Modern Missions" is good enough for the facts of Carey's life and works, but the book's late-Victorian style is rather stiff, assumes the reader knows most of the story already, and drops tons of names without explaining who they are. Ah well, for a free Kindle book ya get what ya pay for. ;-)
