5.0 out of 5 stars First Scientific Study of NDE's, May 10, 2000
This review is from: Life at Death (Paperback)
This is the first scientific study of the Near Death Experience. It is like a breath of fresh air after the anecdotal accounts of men like Raymond Moody. There is a statistical analysis of the aspects of the NDE, and some of the conclusions are rather surprising, but the small sample size is rather upsetting. With the prevalence of NDE's around, it seem rather silly to only use 100 people in the sample. At any rate, let's hope that this book will be encourage other researchers to look at the Near Death Experience a little more citically.

5.0 out of 5 stars interesting, November 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Life at Death (Paperback)
NDEs are very interesting experiences. We really don't know what will happen when we die, all what will be is speculative. But those reports may be very helpful for many grieving or frightened people.
The way K. Ring wrote about it shows a great deal of insight. If somebody is interested in NDEs his books are sure good to read and may be a great help preferable to all 'esoteric' pseudo science.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unacceptable, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Life at Death (Paperback)
Book not as advertised. Threw it in trash. Dirty, crinkled cover, book filled with highlighted and underscored passages, comments jotted in margins, earmarked pages, and something I would not even consider selling at any price. "Your Online Bookstore" will never get any more business from me.
