Great song. As a former Motley follower 25 years ago, it's nice to see Nikki back. While not like the early days of Motley Crue, the entire album is worth buying.

This whole CD is awsome! After hearing the song, Life is Beautiful, on the radio, I had to have the CD and I love the whole thing. Nikki reflected his drug use and decribed it so well. When I need something like that, I listen to this CD. It helps me stay clean.

This is a great song. Opens with acoustic guitar, then cranks up the intensity with a wailing electric guitar and heavy-driving bass and full percussion. The instruments ease up and we get clear, ringing, heartfelt vocals. The guitar joins back in and the vocals get even more intense. Every word is understandable and important, every note contributes to the whole, with a superior melodic line. Returning briefly to acoustic in the middle increases the overall emotional impact of the song's message. "There's nothing like a funeral to make you feel alive. Just open your eyes. Just open your eyes and see that life is beautiful." Very well put together.

A great book along with an awesome CD sound track, a must read and everytime you listen to the cd it will tak you back to the book.
