I don't have a lot of experience with elliptical trainers so I can't compare it to other styles and brands, but this trainer is solid, smooth operating, quiet, and very comfortable. I think this was a great purchase. I get a workout that feels like a workout but without the joint and back pain that often accompanied other types of exercise I did. Better than outdoor walking because it is not dependent on weather or time of day, etc. It can be as challenging or simple as you like. All in all, very happy so far.
