TOO BIG, TOO HEAVY,
By M.Lee "Kess" (Des Moines, IA) - See all my reviews

This is not as described..it is very hard to move - heavy and bulky. If you have a place to set it up and leave it, fine, but this is not going to be pulled out every day for a 'stroll in front of the TV', as described. Performance-wise it seems very nice and is a good solid piece of equipment, but definitely not an item that can be put away after each use. I'm disappointed.

Not bad,

It's easy to use and there wasn't any assembly required. You just basically unfold it and it's ready to go. It would be more movable with wheels, but it's fine. The only thing I don't like about it: is you have to adjust the "tread" every once in awhile. It slips to the side sometimes; other than that, it's great.

Junk,
By Disgusted (Claremont, CA) - See all my reviews

This is the worst purchase I have made from Amazon or anyone else. The "first" unit arrived with several parts broken and the tread immovable. After a number of calls to tech support, it was decided to return and replace the unit. Amazon promptly replaced the treadmill. This one had a movable and usable tread but the electronic display did not function. My friend at tech support did not have a clue. He suggested that he send me all the electircal cables used on this unit. It is not clear what I am to do with them. I strongly recommend that anyone wanting a manual treadmill puchase it from a diffrerent manufacturer.

I purchased this treadmill because it was reasonably priced and had the least amount of bells and whistles on it and wasn't a huge hulking monster - all I wanted was something easy and safe to walk on when the weather isn't cooperating. It does come mostly assembled, and the set up instructions are fairly easy to follow (though the instructions indicate that the safety pin is on the left, it's actually on the right - at least on mine it is. Several of the knobs were damaged and/or broken during shipment, and there are some scrapes and scratches in places. The monitor is easy to read, and they did at least think to put a holder for a water bottle or a TV remote on it as well. The handles are long, which seems safe. It doesn't make too much noise when you're on it, so if you were listening to music or watching TV or someone else is in the room, it doesn't cause too much of a disturbance.
Though the picture and description indicate that there is no incline, there actually is when you set it up, and there's no way to adjust it. You'd probably have to put some books or a piece of wood or something underneath the back end to get a level walking surface, so this treadmill is probably not good for those just beginning an exercise routine because you're stuck with the incline. My biggest complaint is that the belt does not stay in the middle of the walking platform. It slides one way or the other. I've tried to adjust it, but it simply won't stay permanently in the middle. I worry that the edges will fray and stick, and I'll end up having to buy belts on a regular basis. It's okay for the price, but I'm not thrilled with it.

don't know how we ever lived without it,

This treadmill is rugged, ideal for larger folk weighing up to 300 lbs. It is simple to set up and can be used right out of the box, no assembly required. One of the best features of this treadmill is that it has extra-long handlebars, which make it appropriate for elderly users as well as younger ones. We've had ours for more than a month and we've used it every single day since we got it. The belt will migrate from side to side if the treadmill is not set on a totally level surface, but that's about the only problem, and easy to fix. My mom -- almost 90 years old -- likes it just as much as I do. It's a great workout.
P.S.: shipping is only $19.95, and worth every penny. It came via air on Fedex -- and arrived two days after I ordered it.

Fast shipping, treadmill is just as advertised. Having a realistic max (not 30mph) on the speedometer would earn it the fifth star.

Not worth the money, too many issues,

I was unable to use this treadmill for several reasons. One, the belt will not stay centered. It shifts to one side and then starts rubbing on the metal guides intended to keep it centered. If I were able to get the belt to turn with out a large amount of force, the second problem, it would soon be torn by the guides. As I said the second problem is the belt will not move without a lot of force. I had to lean over and put so much force down that after only 3 minutes my legs were cramping. If I tried to stand up and just walk normally the belt would not move. Also like others several of the plastic knobs were broken and it was either a used unit or the numerous scratches happened during shipping.
