Life Hammer, that's what! I gave one to each of my family members for the holidays, and although it's very practicial, people were touched by the thoughtfulness given to this gift. My brother was recently in a car accident, which prompted me to buy this for my loved ones. It's proven to work, but the thing to remember is to keep it close enough to be able to use it. If you are trapped in your car with your seatbelt on, be sure to have it within easy reach. I recommend the middle console or mounted on the ceiling above the driver's seat.

I bought these as gifts for family of driving age. None have had to use them, but it adds a level of security for them in case of an emergency. Buying in a pack saved a few dollars over individual. I wish it had some sort of mounting device to put in a handy standardized location in the vehicle.
