Pirecatem is great, Oxiracetam is greater,
This review is from: NooRacetam (Piracetam) 800mg (Health and Beauty)
I've been taking Piracetam for well over a year, couldn't be more pleased with the results I've been getting from it and how I've been feeling. My buddy recommended something called 50 Grams Oxiracetam Bulk Powder 5 times stronger than Piracetam. All I'll say is if you like piracetam, you'll love this stuff. It's much more potent than piracetam, I'm taking a tenth of the dosage I was taking for piracetam and the difference is pretty darn noticeable. Bottom-line...pirecatem is great, Oxiracetam is greater!

** I'm not a scientist or doctor, only someone who has done thorough research on racetams from reliable and legitimate sources (like[...])
If you're reading this, you're probably already somewhat aware of the "racetam" family of supplements. This particular one, piracetam, was the first to be discovered and is by far the weakest of the racetams. This means that in order to feel the effects, you may need to take a pretty high dosage (several grams per day) for several weeks before it "kicks in." Once that happens, a smaller dose will be sufficient. In any case, this stuff DOES work - it is backed up by many studies dating back to the 60's. Most studies have been done on people with some cognitive impairment, like Alzheimer's/senility, stroke, dementia, autism, etc. It has consistently been shown to improve memory and cognitive function in these people, in some cases very dramatically to the point of seeming like a miracle (one mildly autistic boy was two grades behind in school due to his lack of reading ability; on racetams, within a year he had caught up and moved ahead two grades to where he belonged). Of course, like any substance, it works better for some people than others, and may not work at all for a few. It ALSO works on non-impaired people and can noticeably improve memory, word retrieval, sensory processing (things like colors, music, sensation are more vivid and understandable), creativity, even sexual drive in healthy people. Asian countries use the racetams a lot, especially students - not surprising as they are the world leaders in science and math education. Some studies have shown that long-term racetam use can effectively raise your IQ by an average of 10 points. It is thought to increase communication between the two halves of the brain, and generally make more efficient use of neurotransmitters by increasing cell wall permeability. Personally, I notice that I get more out of reading books on racetam supplements. I'm a musician and I learn and memorize music more quickly, and am better able to listen analytically to music. Writing fiction or music also tends to flow a little better. These effects are not mind-blowing or miraculous, are fairly subtle, yet strong enough and sustained enough that I know it's not a placebo effect. The experience has been entirely positive for me. The best thing about racetams is that there are almost no recorded side effects, and the toxicity level is extremely low (meaning, very safe). Racetams are basically safer than just about any drug or supplement. Any side effects you experience will be the result of low choline levels, because racetams tend to use up choline a little quicker than normal. This is why most people also take a choline supplement, which could be straight choline, choline bitartate, DMAE, phosphatidylcholine, or lecithin. Additional choline not only prevents side effects but also acts synergistically with the racetam, mildly increasing its effects. As far as this particular product - the price is OK for what you get (72 grams total). I would say, if you're interested, get a bottle of this, and if it works well for you, find some powdered piracetam, which as you'd expect ends up being much cheaper (as low as $25 for 500 grams). If you go through the bottle and don't notice anything, you can always try one of the other racetams, which range from 2x to 30x stronger than this one: oxiracetam, aniracetam, pramiracetam.

Works... however, you must consistently take it for over a week, three times a day and the effects do not last after you stop taking it, rather annoying. I had a TBI years ago, unconscious for a month. I've tired quite a bit to restore cognitive skills. This is safe and works, nothing drastic but will give you a little edge.
