Pirecatem is great, Oxiracetam is greater,
This review is from: NooRacetam (Piracetam) 800mg (Health and Beauty)
I've been taking Piracetam for well over a year, couldn't be more pleased with the results I've been getting from it and how I've been feeling. My buddy recommended something called 50 Grams Oxiracetam Bulk Powder 5 times stronger than Piracetam. All I'll say is if you like piracetam, you'll love this stuff. It's much more potent than piracetam, I'm taking a tenth of the dosage I was taking for piracetam and the difference is pretty darn noticeable. Bottom-line...pirecatem is great, Oxiracetam is greater!

** I'm not a scientist or doctor, only someone who has done thorough research on racetams from reliable and legitimate sources (like[...])
If you're reading this, you're probably already somewhat aware of the "racetam" family of supplements. This particular one, piracetam, was the first to be discovered and is by far the weakest of the racetams. This means that in order to feel the effects, you may need to take a pretty high dosage (several grams per day) for several weeks before it "kicks in." Once that happens, a smaller dose will be sufficient. In any case, this stuff DOES work - it is backed up by many studies dating back to the 60's. Most studies have been done on people with some cognitive impairment, like Alzheimer's/senility, stroke, dementia, autism, etc. It has consistently been shown to improve memory and cognitive function in these people, in some cases very dramatically to the point of seeming like a miracle (one mildly autistic boy was two grades behind in school due to his lack of reading ability; on racetams, within a year he had caught up and moved ahead two grades to where he belonged). Of course, like any substance, it works better for some people than others, and may not work at all for a few. It ALSO works on non-impaired people and can noticeably improve memory, word retrieval, sensory processing (things like colors, music, sensation are more vivid and understandable), creativity, even sexual drive in healthy people. Asian countries use the racetams a lot, especially students - not surprising as they are the world leaders in science and math education. Some studies have shown that long-term racetam use can effectively raise your IQ by an average of 10 points. It is thought to increase communication between the two halves of the brain, and generally make more efficient use of neurotransmitters by increasing cell wall permeability. Personally, I notice that I get more out of reading books on racetam supplements. I'm a musician and I learn and memorize music more quickly, and am better able to listen analytically to music. Writing fiction or music also tends to flow a little better. These effects are not mind-blowing or miraculous, are fairly subtle, yet strong enough and sustained enough that I know it's not a placebo effect. The experience has been entirely positive for me. The best thing about racetams is that there are almost no recorded side effects, and the toxicity level is extremely low (meaning, very safe). Racetams are basically safer than just about any drug or supplement. Any side effects you experience will be the result of low choline levels, because racetams tend to use up choline a little quicker than normal. This is why most people also take a choline supplement, which could be straight choline, choline bitartate, DMAE, phosphatidylcholine, or lecithin. Additional choline not only prevents side effects but also acts synergistically with the racetam, mildly increasing its effects. As far as this particular product - the price is OK for what you get (72 grams total). I would say, if you're interested, get a bottle of this, and if it works well for you, find some powdered piracetam, which as you'd expect ends up being much cheaper (as low as $25 for 500 grams). If you go through the bottle and don't notice anything, you can always try one of the other racetams, which range from 2x to 30x stronger than this one: oxiracetam, aniracetam, pramiracetam.

Works... however, you must consistently take it for over a week, three times a day and the effects do not last after you stop taking it, rather annoying. I had a TBI years ago, unconscious for a month. I've tired quite a bit to restore cognitive skills. This is safe and works, nothing drastic but will give you a little edge.

Whether this works as a placebo or not I feel this product works when I take it regularly. I feel more focused and that I concepts are easier to digest. Studying also feels like it requires less effort. However, I've tried a few differnt companies and they are not equal. You will need to ask questions before buying and even then you may want to get a smaller size to see what works for you.

I can't say how well it works, as it just arrived. But I thought it would be helpful to others to add that this is a 90-count bottle. For some reason that piece of information isn't anywhere on this page, and I had to track it down on the Life Force website before ordering myself. It makes it the cheapest 800mg capsule for Piracetam on Amazon.com at the moment. But like I say, I can't say whether or not it actually works yet!

Very very pleased w/ the results of Piracetam. I've been taking this twice daily now for almost 3 weeks and have noticed a very obvious increase in my reading comprehension skills and my memory has improved. I've also noticed my reflexes have quickened. I'm very very excited about the results and after some research have read that there should be more increase even w/ a lessened dosage after a full month.

I've been taking Piracetam since 2001, when it was import only from the pharm company to the US. Now that it's classified as a supplement, it's alot cheaper but there are always quality concerns. I can't speak for the purity of this product, but I will say that there is definitely Piracetam in the product. I'm taking 6 or 7 grams a day and it definitely works well. In addition to all the cognitive benefits, I've noticed fewer headaches for some reason.

I am 64 and noticing a bit of slowing up in my mental acuity, and I had been rather depressed about radical politics since January. I started taking NooRacetam in mid April and started feeling much better within a day or two. It's hard for me to be objective, but I believe I am thinking better, too. But then, it could be spring, who knows, but I'll keep taking it. I started with 2 800mg caps in the AM and 2 at night, but felt a little wobbly in the morning, so backed down to 2 at night and 1 in the morning. That seems to be working just right for me.

Worked great for me,

After two or more weeks I was thinking faster than ever. I was able to do math, puzzles, and pattern recognition faster than before taking it. It also improved my memory and mental clarity in general. The only major side effect I had was depression, but I think that was due to the fact that the smarter you get the more you notice how dumb the average person is and how 49%, a very low estimate, of the people out there is dumber than that.

I tried this product for three weeks and had no response. It might work for others but for myself it was a waste of time.
