The LifeSource scale is extremely easy to setup and to use. The scale takes readings from as far as 15 ft away from the computer. The Scale seems to be very accurate and is easy to use! The software is downloaded from the LifeSource Website but has one very small drawl back and that is only one user can use the scale and the software, unless you want to delete a profile or add another scale. I found this to be a major disappointment as I wanted to track multiple peoples weight. If you are only tracking one persons weight it is a great tool with the informational software that is included. I would give 5 stars if Software allowed to track at least two different people.

This scale appears to be very accurate and reliable. It has an attractive, low profile and an easy to read display.
The scale comes with software and a transceiver which are designed to allow weight data to be wirelessly transmitted to your computer. One first has to download the software from the lifesource website and then register the product.

Software downloaded just fine. Unfortunately, the transceiver wouldn't work and software registration failed repeatedly - even with the correct serial number and product information. To add insult to injury, the instruction manual is a joke with no instructions about set-up of this function.

You can buy a similar lifesource scale without the software and transceiver for less money, and this would seem to be the way to go.

tHE LIFE SOURCE SCALE IS ACCURATE AND EASY TO USE. IT FAILURE IS WITH ITS SOFTWARE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

1. An erronious reading got into the software with no way to erase it. Also the software image is not full screen, making it difficult to read and impossible to enlarge the print.

2. The customer service line is full of recorded messages that do not pertain to the problem or question the customer may have. Ihe recordings appear to be made by a bored 6th grader. When customer service is finally reached they know nothing about nothing.

This item is going back to the store.

I bought this scale 8 months ago, and never used the wireless feature. Like another reviewer, I couldn't get it to turn on by tapping it or stepping on it, but managed to get it to work by putting my toe underneath, lifting it slightly, and letting it drop. It worked pretty well for about 7 months, then stopped working. Now the scale turns on, but after 1 second the display reads "E." Both my husband and I are relatively small people, so excessive weight was not the problem. I called the company, because the manual didn't cover this error code. They had no idea what the problem was, and wanted me to pay a $9.95 fee PLUS shipping to send it back to them, even though it's got a 2-year warranty! I think I'll return it to the seller instead.

well I bought this as I needed a spot on scale.I tried getting on and off 5 times straight and the read out was always the same,spot on each time.it's a brilliant scale and looks great.easy to operate and the instruction manual is great for me as I won't be using the software.I bought this for weighing only once a week so definitely 10/10.

We have been looking for a accurate and dependable scale for a long time. It is attractive and easy to read.

I believe I echo many other reviewers when I say this is a good scale. I don't use the wireless/computer feature; rather, I bought it for its reputation of accuracy.

I had previously owned a Taylor scale from Target, which changed weight measurements if you stepped on it again five minutes later - by a significant degree. The LifeSource scale has no problems whatsoever.

This model may seem a little pricey (& I think you can get one without the computer linkup feature for a lower price), but you won't have to replace it because it does what it's supposed to do.

at the time that we made this purchase we were looking for a scale which would measure our weights correctly. This scale had high reviews with consumer report and others,. the price we found here on Amazon was simply great. Now having used it for some time it is great. We couldn't be more pleased plus the fast turn around with the on-line order helped us. Now 20 plus pounds less and still going . Love the scale, Love the service Love Amazon!!!!

Recently I purchased a LifeSource UC-324THW Wireless Scale from Amazon.com. The ordering process worked fine and the scale arrived within a week. However, it never worked right. The instructions say to 'tap' on the scale to get it to start up, and when the zeros display, to stand on the scale. I tapped, and even stood on all areas of the top of the scale, and it would not start up. I changed batteries and tried everything possible to get the scale to work, but all to no avail. I returned the scale for a refund. Checking further on the Internet, I read where others have had similar problems with this scale. Lastly, when working, it is supposed to wirelessly connect to your computer or other monitoring device. Even if I could get the scale to work, that would have been too much capability. I just wanted a scale to give my weight and possibly body fat index. I subsequently purchased a Tanita scale and it works fine.
