Very convenient but a couple small issues,
It is a very handy space saver and is very stable and sturdy. However, it was not the easiest thing to install, although once I finally figured it out, it wasn't too hard. I don't particularly find the design of the plastic cover attractive at all and since it is in a spot where it is visible, that bothers me a little. Plus, when it folds down, there is a hump in the middle that doesn't go all the way flat. I don't do a ton of ironing and so it is nice to have it stored out of the way - plus it is up so it stays clean and I don't have to move it to sweep or vacuum. However, because I don't do a lot of ironing, it was a little harder to justify the price.

Outstanding Product! Just what we needed.,
We remodeled our small laundry room. We shopped for an ironing board that could mount onto a wall. Previously we had had our floor-standing ironing board in the laundry and it took up an entire wall. We put shelving on that wall as part of our remodel and searched for the ironing board that could now be mounted on that wall, too. The ironing boards that come in cabinets, mount either inside the wall or on its surface and are not very useful. They do not fold or swivel. They just come straight out, 90 degrees from the wall. When we saw the video of the Better Lifestyle Wall Mounted Ironing Center (full size), we were thrilled!. Someone had invented exactly what we needed. We could mount it on the shelving wall and it could be used straight out from the wall or parallel to it. We blocked securely behind the wallboard and could then fasten the ironing board securely to the wall & blocking behind it. It's functioned perfectly. We've had it for a year and a half. I usually use it parallel to the shelving wall. It fits between shelves like another shelf. If I have an item that is very long, I simply swivel the ironing board out over the floor. When it's swiveled out like that, it nearly touches the washer & dryer on the adjacent wall--that's how narrow our laundry is. But that is no problem. I iron away and then swivel it back parallel to the wall that it's mounted on. I hardly ever fold it up because it's like a shelf that I can fold laundry on. This ironing board is solid and large enough for our trousers and sheets. The space in our laundry is much better used!
