Best condoms we have ever tried!,
By Angie (Nowhere) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LifeStyles 7312 Skyn Non-latex Condoms, 12-count (pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
After suspecting that I was allergic to latex, seeing that whenever me and my Fiance' used a regular condom it would burn and irritate me, we decided to try these. They are awesome! I guess I was allergic to latex, because these don't burn or irritate me at all. My Fiance' said that these have a better fit than any of the other condoms we've tried and they are thinner, and don't have a plastic-y feel like most thin condoms; these are really silky and soft. I could tell he was wearing a condom, but it was very slight, this is the least I have ever felt a condom. I've never felt a silkier condom, I usually feel all the wrinkles and creases in a regular condom, but not these, these actually FIT. And they are strong, they didn't break. For some crazy reason my local Publix was selling these for $5 for a box of 12, that's what prompted me to try them.

Great feeling, but a little snug,
By Tough Critic (USA) - See all my reviews

After hearing a lot of hype about these I decided to give them a try instead of our usual Durex Extra Sensitive or Durex Love condoms. These are more stretchable than latex, have a somewhat more natural feel and seem to transmit heat very well. I don't know if they are "Close to wearing nothing", but we will definitely use them again. My only minor complain is that they are a little more snug than the Durex's I mentioned or other Life Styles I've used - but they do stretch well so its certainly not to the point of being uncomfortable or anything.
Also, a side note - we didn't notice any type of smell that a couple of other reviewers mentioned - in fact they might have less of a scent that regular latex.

Best I've found,
By Amazon Shopper =) "Amazon Shopper =)" (Boston, MA United States) - See all my reviews

I hate to use any of these but, I have to. So I purchased these and a few other brands. It's been fun - I wanted a 'nothing there' feeling, so I tried: Crown (best all around for good sensation, comfort, breakage,) - Kimono (ehh, too much hype, same mfg standards as Crown) - Beyond 7 (ehhh, I tried the studded, et.al., but didn't add to the equation)
----- IF YOU ARE looking for a poly* to use, go for the LifeStyles SKYN they come in a really cool GOLD wrapper, feel great, and are the best I've found 2nd to my discovery of the Crown Condoms. The new Trojan Supra MicroSheer Poly*, are ok~ish, they feel stiff (not in the good way, more like wax paper) and the Durex Avanti also isn't great. These new Poly* material condoms are great b/c you feel more 'heat' though there is less 'friction' - it's a trade of but it really works! Thanks for readin' - I hope this helps even one person skip the: "hey, I swear this never happens...." line, when the 'excitement' softens - I'll only 'carry' the Crown & SKYN

THERE IS NO ODOR,
This review is from: LifeStyles 7312 Skyn Non-latex Condoms, 12-count (pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
These do not smell foul at all, they smell way better than latex, they have almost no smell at all. These things are a little snug but they conform and stretch to your shaft rather than restrict it though. These bad boy are really good for me. I can't attest to wether or to your girl will have a bad reaction because it depends on your girl, everyone is different. But I can however say that these are the best I've ever tried and don't feel like a plastic bag like latex does to me, and I've tried kimono, trojan extra sensitive, etc. I usually have a hard time keeping erection when i use a condom so these are really awesome to me, great if you suffer from whiskey d***. Note that the gold rapper is petty cool too. These are gonna be my preferred condoms from now on, thank you lyfestyles. And amazon has the best price ou there!!!

Very mixed experience with these... good initially but they don't keep well,
This review is from: LifeStyles 7312 Skyn Non-latex Condoms, 12-count (pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I ordered 36 (3 12-packs) of these (based on good online reviews), used probably a dozen, and threw away the rest.
Pros: good fit, no crinkly feel (unlike Avantis, say), can be used like a "normal" latex condom but with partners or lubricants that are incompatible with latex. Cons: they go bad in storage. The first couple of months, there was no bad odor or weird spots on them, and they performed as well as most latex condoms. Then I opened one with a slightly funny odor... discarded it. A month later, nearly all of them had developed a funky odor and some of them looked spotty. For reference, the use-by date on these was in 2012, they were not old or poorly stored (kept in my dresser drawer). I tried using a couple of the least-stinky ones anyway, and my partner developed a nasty UTI afterwards. So I then threw out all but a couple, which I kept in case there was a later recall of that lot number. If you use these, buy in small amounts and use them quickly, they have a very short shelf life. Return any that are within 2 years of the use-by date, as they are likely funky and maybe dangerous.

Amazing,

My girlfriend and I used these condoms recently, and all we can say is "wow!" We had previously been using Trojan brand Ecstasy condoms when we saw a 24 pack of these on sale for ten dollars. Immediately after we started having sex, there was a noticeable difference in quality between the SKYN condoms and the Ecstasy condoms. The former gave a more natural feel and transferred heat much more effectively than the Trojans ever did. The label does not lie. This is "the closest thing to wearing nothing" that money can buy.
Neither of us are allergic to latex. We did not notice any type of a smell emitting from the condoms. From what I remember, it was the Trojans that smelled. The material is very durable, though the condom is built to be snug - definitely not snug enough to ruin the experience, though. We recommend these condoms to anyone who wants to have pleasurable sex. You will not be disappointed!

My boyfriend prefers these SKYN condoms to latex - they are thinner, so he feels more, and though I'm not allergic to latex, the polyisopropene feels better for me too, just smoother and less drying.
They are a bit pricier than latex but Amazon sells them for considerably less than Target (where I used to get condoms), and for the extra sensation, it's worth it for us. They are the least intrusive, most satisfactory (I just can't rave about condoms, sorry, these are great but I still wish we didn't have to use them), so we'll be buying them for the forseeable future.

I began to suspect I was allergic to latex. It got to the point that I was so irritable that I could no longer continue. We decided to use this condom, and if I still felt the irritation we would use a different form of birth control. It was perfect! The pain I had been feeling for months was gone, and the feeling was incredible! I would definitely recommend these condoms to anybody for the comfort, but if you are allergic to latex, it's perfect!

Best all-purpose condom I've ever used,
By OldNumber7 (Baltimore, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LifeStyles 7312 Skyn Non-latex Condoms, 12-count (pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I've been using condoms on and off for 30 years, and these are a terrific advance. My current girlfriend informed me early on that she is allergic to latex, and I was disappointed by the news because the last times I used polyurethane condoms I was really disappointed. I found these at the pharmacy, noticed they were made of a different synthetic (polyisoprene) and figured they were worth a try. Quite simply, they are the best non-lambskin condoms I have ever used (and lambskin is not an option with this GF because we were concerned about an STD risk). The fit is great (I am average size), there's no significant smell, they go on easily and they stay on (no matter how vigorous things get, or how long the session). She enjoys the sensation, as well, and says she can't tell I am wearing a condom! I don't think I will ever go back to latex, even with partners who don't have an allergy.
The price is right, too. |
