I am an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor. Having used the old text, "Lifeguarding Today," I was somewhat disappointed in the way that many valuable skills had been cut from the new program. Nevertheless, this is still the best lifeguarding program around, and with new modules coming out all the time, the American Red Cross is sure to make up for the skills that they've removed from the new program. A+!!!

In searching this title, unfortunately, only this old edition came up. This was not the book my daughter needed because it was about 8 years out of date! Apparently, the correct edition can only be purchased directly from the American Red Cross. Beware!

This was the old edition and was of very little use. There was no indication that it was not the latest edition.
