4.0 out of 5 stars Great little kit
It's a great little kit.
Has all the essentials, but I'm glad it had room so when still bought other stuff, I was able to put them in.

1.0 out of 5 stars Its not waterproof
The case is not waterproof.. and if it rains your kit will be ruined.
Not worth the money spent on it.

I like the compact size if this kit. It had enough items in it that I could remove some and add other things to personalize it to my needs. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the sissors. They are small and not heavy duty.

Get one for your vehicle and even if you don't know how to use it in an accident (you really should) at least those with knowledge will thank you for having it in an emergency.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bought it for the container, December 13, 2011

I bought this solely for the container. I wanted a decently sized first aid kit to fit in the large outside pocket of my large Alice pack that was red and easily identifiable. I filled it with stuff That I thought would be appropriate for axe work and other general outdoors activities around sharp objects.

As for the kit itself, it was okay. I found the gauze pads to be very thing and I doubt they would have been able to contain and deep cut.

Bought this to have on site for basketball tournaments. Has essentials and we have added extra bandaids and ice paks to complete what we need to have on hand each weekend. Good purchase for what you get for the price!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great For Traveling., August 11, 2011

We purchased this kit to take with us when doing some traveling. We had to add a few items -- like a tube of antibiotics, "tylenol", and nail clipper -- but we found the kit to be filled with everything else we could imagine ourselves "tending to ourselves." It went with us on a 3000 mile road trip and an extended trip through Asia. Only used a band-aid once, but it was reassuring to have all the time. It's not very big so it could easily be thrown into one of our check-in luggage with any other sharp instruments. Be proactive.
